Sea Spray Islands celebrates 1 year with fireworks display

The night sky was lit up with green fireworks a half-hour ago as our nation celebrated its 1st birthday! Today marks a year since the Sea Spray Islands began, with McTwoPoint0 claming what would become the Greater Sea Spray Island. SSI would develop quickly after that, with McTwoPoint0 building his house, Potato Industries setting up offices in the new Sea Spray City, plans being made for Covenant Engineering and various farms being built along the Island.

Preparing for the celebration was hectic, says McTwoPoint0, the leader of Sea Spray and the one who organised last night's fireworks display. RoryRDMB and TaylorWorld spent most of the morning rushing around trying to collect the materials for the fireworks. McTwoPoint0 was also busy trying to figure out how to rig the fireworks diplay to a series of buttons. Eventually all turned out well, and we were rewarded with a glorious spectacle.

Another noteworthy addition to Sea Spray Islands was also completed today: The Sea Spray Islands Radio Broadcast Center. It is the headquarters of new media organisation SSI Radio, the first and currently only radio network on Realmplex. The head of SSI Radio has said he plans to make the first broadcast today. The broadcast center is currently the tallest building in SSI thanks to the radio tower that sits apon it. RoryRDMB would review the structure, saying it needs more "greebles and dishes,"
